Uberlândia (Portuguese pronunciation: [ubɛxˈlɐ̃d͡ʒiɐ]) is a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil. With a population of 669,672 inhabitants, according to 2016 estimates, the city is the second largest in the state of Minas Gerais, second only to the state capital Belo Horizonte (2,513,451). It is also the fourth largest city of the interior of Brazil and the 12th most populous city of the country, except capitals. The city is served by Uberlândia–Ten. Cel. Av. César Bombonato Airport.
